Chad makes fun of the fact that pretty much every problem I've ever had with Gabriella I've fixed by singing with her, but it's a solid thing. That's why Gabi and I work. I mean we work for other reasons too, not just the duet thing, but the duet thing helps a lot.

It sounds really, really dumb but what if Ryan just sang an apology? He's good at performing, he's a lot less awkward that way than he is just talking.

I'm all for solving problems with singing, but I've never seen it work outside of musicals. And with you and Gabriella, but you two are special.

Maybe we should just lock them in a room together? Don't tell Ryan but I may or may not be trying to talk Chad into moving to California with me and Gabriella for a few months.

For a few months... :) Just because Gabi's doing some stuff for summer classes and she'll be in an apartment by herself all summer until her roommates come back and I don't have a lot in Albuquerque that doesn't involve my parents or Chad.

And...think about it, Kelsi. Don't you think a change of scenery would be good for Chad? Good for both of them so that this doesn't happen again? Since nobody is agreeing with my singing idea...

I'm sure a change of scenery would be very good for Chad, but Ryan is touring. There's not much time for any room-locking plans and so far I can't even get him to text Chad.

So Ryan gets multiple scene changes, whatever. Don't worry about him texting Chad until he feels like he can do it without someone else prompting him. Besides I stole Chad's phone so he'd stop waiting for Ryan to text or call. He's busying himself shooting baskets in the gym.

...also he just agreed to come with me. To California.

I should, shouldn't I? Quick, think of a song I can use to make Chad swoon and forget about Ryan stomping all over his heart.

I'm not sure Chad thinks that right now, but thanks. I'm trying. I doubt you're having any better luck with Ryan anyway so maybe I should be saying YOU are a very good friend.

Ryan's not quite stepped off the stage yet.

Of course he hasn't, he's Ryan. I think the Evans twins view the whole world as their personal stage. Ryan's just a lot more tolerable about it. I'd say he's fun to hang out with but I'm still kind of a little annoyed at him for what he did.

That, and also for giving Chad false hope that they'd get back together and lying about having a boyfriend that he apparently was dating right after they broke up. That's low even for them.

A surprise duet? Do you plan on just handing her the sheet when her part comes up? But I can do that. I want to.

It was at least a few weeks before he started dating Jack...

Something like that. Gabi always knows her parts when we sing together, she'll be great. Someday soon.

He's really good-looking, talented, creative. Full of himself, but we all have to be. He wants Ryan.

What do you mean, what is he doing? A lot of guys want Ryan. Girls, too. You should be familiar with that. Ryan has to figure out who he wants.

I mean what is he doing going around just kissing people if he's got the Ryan Evans fanclub going on?

He's not kissing people, he's kissing Chad. It's a big deal. It will always be a big deal.

But he's complicated.

What is so complicated about it though? You kiss people you can date. You don't kiss people you can't be with. End of story.
