For how long he wants? I never thought I'd hear you talk like this so soon. You're great together, though, I'm glad you figured things out. Now I don't have to write sad love songs anymore.

It's not so much that I don't want to say together forever, it's just that I don't really believe in the concept of forever anymore.

Anyway yes I know but that's still not okay, Kelsi. But I can't lie and say I would have stopped it because you and I were just...different. We were such different people back then and do you ever wonder if Troy and Gabriella really realize what they did by crossing cliques?

Actually I just meant that I'm surprised to hear you say as long as he wants, instead of thinking your mind might change soon.

What parts do you think you're not over yet?

I don't think Troy and Gabriella really know, because Troy has never been an outsider and, well, Gabriella is brilliant and beautiful, it's not as if she'd have gotten the usual nerd treatment at any point.

They're insane. They drive me insane sometimes because they're too involved with each other to really notice the chain effect that they caused. Sharpay tried bullying Gabriella but it didn't work out. And Troy...Troy's always been the most popular boy in our grade followed closely by Chad. I just wonder how they can be so unaware of how much everything changes because of callbacks.

Troy is very unaware of it all, he thinks it was pretty much solely Gabriella's doing. But he was always strange that way, most popular boy in school but nice to everyone anyway.

Sometimes I want to shake him and see if that triggers anything. No wonder everybody had a crush on him back then. Though you have to admit that Gabriella did help a lot.

That makes sense though, he and Troy are friends, but he pretty much went through life being second to him? I don't know how much that bothers him or anything, but I know the topic of who is better came up when they fought at Lava Springs.

That's true. I'm so excited to be back on a normal diet after this, can I stress that enough? But yeah. I have been doing a lot of self-reflection in the past couple of months. I'm pretty fucked up and that's sort of fucking up my relationship.

I get it. I mean I was always second to Sharpay, I totally get it. But I was never in love with my sister either so there's that. No offense to Troy, but…you know. I'm biased.

I don't know if Chad was ever in love with Troy. I mean, we can assume you're his type and without offending either of you, you really don't have a lot in common with Troy, apart from being unfairly attractive.

I think it's totally fair, considering I'm second-best at a lot of stuff. But maybe opposites attract? I don't know, I don't know if Chad has a type or if he's just in love with me. Kinda like how I was just in love with you but I find girls in general unappealing.

I missed you so much it actually was killing me. It was bad enough without Chad but you too? I'm not leaving for another few years. I can't. Also that's good to know you like me for more than what I can buy you, and you'll absolutely fit in my suitcase. Who needs clothes when I can have a Kelsi?

You're at least as talented, gorgeous and practiced as your sister. I'd actually argue you're a lot better at some of it, especially social interactions and you're much more versatile.
